MOTIR TODAY Monday, December 29, 2025 / Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources / MOTIR and MOF Launch M.AX Alliance with Shipbuilding and Shipping Industries in a "2+2 Partnership"/ The M.AX Alliance for Autonomous Ships is built on the S.E.A. strategy—Speed (S), Engagement (E), and Alliance (A). Through a one-team approach between shipbuilding and shipping, the Alliance aims to establish a comprehensive support framework for autonomous ships, accelerate the dissemination of data-driven AI technologies, and secure early leadership in global standards. MOTIR will work closely with MOF to foster autonomous ships as a future growth engine for Korea's shipbuilding and shipping industries through the M.AX Alliance. *S.E.A.
