Minister JK Kim Meets U.S. Energy Secretary

Minister JK (Jung-Kwan) Kim of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources (MOTIR) met with U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright on January 29, 2026, at the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C., to discuss cooperation in the energy and resources sectors.
During the meeting, the two sides agreed to establish a working-level consultation channel to expedite discussions on bilateral cooperation in energy and resources.
