First Industrial and Resource Security Strategy Meeting

Minister JK (Jung-Kwan) Kim of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources (MOTIR) chaired the first Industrial and Resource Security Strategy Meeting at Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-SURE) in Seoul on June 25, 2026.
The meeting brought together Vice Minister Moon Shin-hak, industrial and resource security experts, and industry representatives to discuss future policy directions.
Minister Kim said, “Resource security is a national task that requires careful, long-term preparation. The government and the private sector must work together with a shared sense of responsibility to build a resource security system that can withstand any circumstances.”
