Korea and Singapore Hold Second Round of Korea-Singapore FTA Upgrade Negotiations

Park Geun-oh, Director General for Trade Agreement Policy at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources (MOTIR, Minister JK Kim), attended the Second Round of Korea-Singapore FTA Upgrade Negotiations at Lotte Hotel Seoul on July 7, 2026.
The meeting brought together government delegations from both countries, including Tan Lui Hai, Director of the Northeast Asia Division at Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Director General Park said Korea will work to achieve outcomes that help Korean companies enter the Singapore market, including by modernizing trade rules.
